This lunch picture above is for my 15 year old son. The boy like to eat! He needs lots of protein and has no shame in his appetite. May not be as low carb as I eat but for a growing teen boy I’m happy with his choices.

- string cheese
- Garlic Parm Chickpeas
- Mini Zucchini Cheese Bites

I don’t pack lunches for kids but for myself and hubby it’s generally leftovers (homemade) plus plenty of low carb snacks. Those bags look like they’d be pretty handy. Thanks for the chance to win.
Gosh I would love to win this. I pack lunches everyday for my 2 girls & this would be so handy!
Oh and I pack a lot of yogurt, peanut butter and/or nutella sammies, and soup 🙂
I freeze tubes of organic yogurt so they help keep the lunch cool and are thawed by lunchtime.
Always a sandwich and a special treat!
turkey cheese roll ups
I’m always trying to mix it up between fresh fruit, cheese, whole wheat crackers, applesauce (no sugar added of course ;), yoguart with granola to add, sometimes even left over dinner stuff, which is why I always need to keep it cold.
My kids love cold quesadillas and pizza. I sometimes send meatballs or taco fritters (basically cornbread with taco meat, beans, cheese, peppers and onions, fried in a patty). They love all manner of fruits and veggies.
Usually, I just give my 7 year old a Nutella or peanut butter and jelly sandwich. A go-go fruit squeezer, and water. Maybe a little cookie snack if she’s lucky.
I pack a lot of lunches every week – for myself, my husband, and my son. I love the idea of not having to use those clunky ice packs. We eat a lot of fruits, veggies, yogurt and peanut butter. This is a great give-away!
Packing my daughters lunch drives me crazy because she gets so bored with what i pack and then refuses to eat it… (she’s 7 and is trying to rule the world.) Half way threw last school year I got one of these bags and it changed everything!! I have so many more options now because I can trust things will stay cold.
I’m committed to low carb eating so packing my lunch every day is a must. Keeping things cold can be a challenge. Thanks for introducing me to these bags.
Sandwiches and water!
I make stuffed tomatoes with tuna , cauliflower pizza. I Like good food.
Fruit, veggies, boiled eggs, cheese, yogurt.
I usually pack turkey or ham sandwiches for them – with yogurt or pretzels, and always with a side of fruit.
Kids are grown, but pack my own lunch everyday, all low carb & try to be as ‘keto’ as possible by packing my keto leftovers from dinner the night before!
Usually, it’s just leftovers from the night before.
I pack my own lunch and my husband’s daily. He gets a salad with lots of nuts, seeds, and fruit every day. Mine is either salad or soup. Love these bags!
These look fantastic! I have been searching for replacement lunch bags and these would be perfect! Lunches for our family typically include salad, chia pudding, broccoli and strawberries.
I usually try to do leftovers for lunch, but if that doesn’t work, I’ll do lunch meat, fruit, and nuts (or something along those lines).
where can you put a spoon in the bento lunchbox?
We’ve just started “no processed food” in our house, so we’re trying to pack a lot more fruit and veggies for the kids. I have one that’s SUPER picky, though — like eats 2 fruits, no veggies, EVER — so it’s a challenge!
I’m only 18, but I pack my own lunch and I love a baked sweet potato with grilled chicken and mixed berries!
I just saw these bags at Target today! I was kinda waiting until all the school stuff goes into clearance.
I love these! My husband and I would love one for each of us. He takes lunch to work and I could use on as I am a mobile notary/loan signing agent, who is on the go all the time.
I make sure to always put in some fresh fruits and veggies.
I pack a lunch for myself that includes a salad, nuts and an apple.
We usually pack leftover meat, raw veggies, and fruit.
Sandwich, fruit, veggie, and a small dessert with a drink 🙂
I have one son who loves boring sandwiches, the other doesn’t really. Every day is a new adventure when packing lunches!
I pack for me…usually celery or carrots, raisins or dried cherries, a piece of cheese, and a slice or two of turkey or chicken; or I switch it up with some type of salad. I don’t like to have the same meal every day for lunch! When I packed for my kids, they like the same ole’, boring lunch of pbj, an apple, and some raisins.
Ahh! love these!
Oh man, my gluten-intolerant teenage son is going to be stoked about all of these delicious recipes for school! I love the Packit lunchbox design and layout too.
sandwiches, fruit,veggise & dip
Every morning I make my husband a salad lunch with homemade ranch dressing and a serving of nuts, and a hot breakfast to go each with a serving of flaxbread plus coffee, iced tea and hot tea. He takes 2 coolers, one with cold packs and one with hot packs and three thermos. A lot of work, so he can eat a low carb diabetic diet but so worth it.
It’s cheaper then eating in the hospital cafeteria too!
Each of our family members packs a healthy lunch each day and these bag sure would be blessing! Thank you for introducing them to me!
Forgot to say what we pack…salads with hard boiled eggs and veggies, guacamole and low carb veggies, low carb sugar free muffins, greek yogurt with berries, and sometimes a sugar free dessert like cheesecake if I am craving it. 🙂
Low carb leftovers, cream for my coffee, almonds and cheese for snack, 1/2 of a 6 carb tortilla with 1 T PB. I’ve looked at these bags but been skeptical. I may have to rethink that.
Lots of tuna
usually a sandwich, a fruit and a veggie.
These lunch bags would just the thing I need to keep my lunch cool as I go from home to the gym and to the office. I always worry about the food getting too warm sitting in the car while I work out.
I make burritos, wraps, sandwiches. I have a very picky eater.
My kids are in college, they don’t let me pack their lunches any more, but I’m a teacher, and I think that with the proper container, I could take a smoothie and or other cold beveragy kind of food for lunch and add to my lunch diversity. I tend toward leftovers in ziplocks, so these bags would really help!
k
They love PBJ sandwiches the best and I give them veggie sticks and some kind of fruit and I let them pick out the extra snack.
I always put pb&j or lunch meat. Then had to have string cheese and apples. along with reeses.
This would be great for my husband on work days. We’ve tried a variety of ice block and bag combinations, and nothing looks as sleek as these.
I put in a sandwich, fruit, veggie and water.
My daughter takes a meat and cheese filled salad along with fruit and pepperoni chips. We have a hard time keeping things cool-this would make a great solution!
My kids are grown but I pack a snack for husband on our road trips.. HB egg, cheese, celery and peanut butter.. This would be great for that 🙂
This is so timely! I’ve been looking for new lunch bags for my girls that work! I pack lunches every single day. I try to make extras for dinner so I have leftovers. I’m always looking for new ideas that my girls will like. We are in the tween phase so things like boiled eggs are “not cool.”
Congrats you’ve been chosen as the winner! My first chosen winner did not reply by email and was given 3 days so please reply via email when you see this!
Peanut butter and jelly sandwiches , yogurt and pretzels
This is exactly what I was looking for! Since we are grain free, low carb, no sugar, mod protein, finding something to put our food in is very hard!
I put in something like tuna or chicken cut into strips, or beef, turkey, some sort of meat, a piece of cheese cut off the block, hard boiled egg for the ones that like them, grapes or apple slices, with almond butter, home made trail mix with lots of nuts, dark chocolate, unsweetened coconut, etc, condiments, carrots or celery, berries, etc.
This would be a great addition for my family’s lunches! My oldest daughter is heading to kindergarten, and my youngest is going to pre-K. I always pack a lunch for my husband as well and I would love to have one for myself when I go errand running! Thanks for sharing about these bags!
No kids at home but I do pack the hubby’s lunch which includes a sandwich, Greek yogurt and homemade granola.
I pack lunches with sandwiches, hummus and veggies, fruit, homemade cookies or muffins, yogurt, granola bars…
I pack sandwiches or leftovers and fruit.
I pack a sandwich,chips,fruit and bottled water.
My kids aren’t at the packed lunch stage yet, but I would love one of these for me! I vary between packing sandwiches, wraps and finger foods like crudite. These bags would be perfect for keeping mu lunches cool.
Sandwiches plus cheese and crackers
I like to put eggs in my kids lunch
