I made these for the first time, tonight for dinner! We ate them without a bun or bread. I sautéed onions & crimini mushrooms together & poured them on top of the burgers that I had resting on top of Boston lettuce. We had beans as our side. The chicken burgers were delicious!! I’m glad there are 2 leftover, I’ll have them for lunch tomorrow.

My family LOVES chicken burgers. I bought a grinder attachment for my Kitchen Aid so I can grind my own ground chicken from chicken breasts. TOTALLY worth the $50!! The butcher is really helpful telling me what cuts of beef to get the healthiest ground beef.
Thanks for the recipe! LOVE your site :)

This recipe sounds delicious. I'm curious as to why you use the egg? Does it act like a "glue" like in meatloaf? Can you taste it?

Chicken Burgers rock! I always use the 99% FF Ground Chicken, I make a Buffalo Chicken Burger by mixing in garlic & onion powder with Frank Buffalo Sauce. I grill them & when they are ready I brush them with more Buff Sauce. I top them with a wedge of Laughing Cow Blue Cheese & sliced red onion. I eat mine over a bed of lettuce with celery & carrot sticks. Low cal & WW friendly!

In reply to <a href="https://www.sugarfreemom.com/recipes/chicken-burgers-grain-gluten-free/comment-page-1/#comment-44555">Kathy S</a>.

HI Kathy, I never said beef will make you fat nor is it unhealthy. I said it has more fat than chicken and that's not my opinion, it does. I said don't get me wrong I like beef and I eat burgers and there's nothing wrong with that. But once in awhile it's a good thing to change up the burger and eat a chicken burger for less calories and less fat. So while I am very happy you have lost weight eating paleo, no need to slam those who don't eat the way you do. Thanks!

You are soooo wrong! Eating beef will not make you fat or unhealthy! Eating the bread around it will. I eat lots of beef, pig and chicken and I lost 16 lbs. It's called Paleo. It's the real sugar free way to eat. Check it out.
