I made this last night and it was so yummy! I used all the ingredients but tweaked the way I prepared it. I covered it with foil and baked this at 325 for about 45 to 50 minutes. It turned out perfect! My husband had his over rice and I had mine over steamed broccoli - perfect! What I did differently to get it into that baking dish was combine the spices, cut up the chicken into cutlets, and use an immersion blender to blend up the wet ingredients and the cheese. Then I stirred in the spices and put it over the chicken and topped it with cheese. I didn't have any white wine so I just substituted with chicken broth (1 cup of broth instead of 1/2 cup). I know the meal is good when I see my husband taking a generous 2nd helping!

UPDATE:

The chicken was frozen (2.25 lbs) when it was put in the Instant Pot. Using the recipe on this page, all the dry ingredients - without the arrowroot - plus the fresh garlic were whisked in a bowl. Half the seasoning ingredients were put in the IP with the chicken broth. The poultry setting on the IP was used and the timer set for 30 minutes.

The cream cheese, arrowroot, chicken broth (instead of the wine) etc., were put in the food processor, then stirred into the chicken after the 30 minutes. The IP was set for another 15 minutes. When completed, the chicken was removed and shredded, then added to a sheet cake dish and topped with a little more grated cheese. It was put under the broiler until the cheese browned.

Ready to serve - from frozen to serving time - in 45 minutes!

Next time I would put the chicken in for 20 minutes, then add the cheese mixture and cook for another 10. This would be a total of *30* minutes in the IP, which would have been plenty of time before browning under the broiler.

Also, I didn't have Asiago cheese so I used shredded parmesan (not the grated stuff in the green canister) for the recipe. It.was.fabulous.

Highly recommend!!! Great recipe PLUS accelerated cooking time in the Instant Pot EQUALS dinner served in less than an hour - starting with frozen chicken.

I used to make this quite a bit a year ago when I first discovered the recipe. Face Book reminded me of it when it brought up the picture I posted a year ago! Now I have an Instant Pot and am going to attempt to prepare this recipe using frozen chicken breasts. Should turn out great - and if so, what a great way to have dinner on the table when the starting point includes *frozen* chicken breasts!
