Not a home-schooler here (although there are days it's tempting...), but had to comment because something you said just struck me. Just this summer I made the choice to leave my full-time teaching position and move to private tutoring and homebound instruction. Huge leap of faith, but it's already proving to be the best thing we could have done for our entire family. So I was bolstered to see your comment that a similar move was a great choice. Thanks!
And what brought me here in the first place was that beef - we love balsamic and beef and I was surprised to see the white balsamic here (not many use it). We love the white balsamic for many things - I have a great potato salad with a white balsamic vinaigrette on it that is fantastic! Looking forward to trying this.

Myself, my 5 y/o son and husband loved it. I added some mushrooms and they soaked up the great flavor from the sauce. I did not add the red pepper to the sauce in fear that it would be too spicy. I served with some roasted potatoes. I only gave it 4 stars because I used a 3lb roast and cooked for 5 hours and it was not easy to shred. I think the cooking time needs to be longer.
