Just tried this recipe on 9-13-15 for my daughter's birthday. She loved it!!! I do have a question...I want to know who on earth can peel and dice potatoes, carrots, onions and celery, plus get everything measured and mixed in just 15 minutes? Just what exactly is included in "prep" time?
Thanks again for the wonderful recipe.?

I'm sorry you didn't like the biscuits. My family loved them and prefer then over whole wheat biscuits. Maybe the cooking time was a bit too long for your oven.

The biscuit recipe I received from the reader Emily, did not include xanthum gum and she said it was terrific. I added it as I wanted to make sure it had a nice texture to it. But I'm sure you could try leaving it out.
