loved it! i used honey and baked mine on parchment paper for 6.5 hours and they came out perfect. If you let it bake for too long, they will dry out and crack. follow the instructions and stop baking just after they’re no longer sticky. Adding this to my repeat list :)

Negligent? I used silpat and parchment to make this recipe as written without issues and there are others who have commented it worked fine for them. I used frozen thawed blueberries. Perhaps using fresh made the difference in yours sticking to parchment.

DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT, use parchment paper!! I almost wasted two packs of organic blueberries by using parchment paper. The mixture cannot be peeled off. I should have read the comments before attempting this recipe. I was able to peel off the mixture in pieces before it got too dry to do so. I now have it in random uneven pieces in the dehydrator. I hope it turns out ok. The owner of this recipe is negligent in not making the correction. Numerous people have said it is not ok to use parchment paper.

I tried this yesterday and followed the directions to the t. I baked it for about 6.5 hours. At 6 hours it was still a little sticky so I added the extra half. When I took it out of the oven, I let it cool for a little. When I tried to peel it off it’s completely stuck to the parchment paper! I couldn’t even try it because the whole back is the paper! Is there something I should’ve done differently?

Not really, they most likely would become very brittle and wouldn't be fruit leather anymore. Plus, cooking at higher temps would defeat the purpose of them being nutritive, for the higher the temp, the higher vitamine loss you will get.

I used blueberries and 1/2 cup organic raw sugar (sorry - hate pretend sugars) and a bit of water. Simmered it on the stove top till it thickened up a bit - ran it through the blender - then on the stove top a bit more. (I was cleaning the kitchen and it smelled so good, I just kept cleaning just to be in the same room!!) Then put it in my dehydrator. OOH - I used a bit of coconut oil on the dehydrator "sheet", and it came out great! Thanks for suggesting such a great recipe. I know this is an old post, but I'm a bit slow on catching up!
