An Instant Pot is an electric pressure cooker that makes cooking meals a lot quicker! I'm giving one away today!
I fell in love with pressure cooking a long time ago under the supervision of my wonderful grandmother and mother. They were avid pressure cooker experts and never had any issues with explosions or problems.

I've got 2 recipes using the older version which could easily be converted to the Instant Pot:
Using a standard pressure cooker can be scary if you've got a gas stove and not quite sure how to keep the heat steady and the pressure cooker evenly cooking.
If you've always loved the crock pot, the aspect of plugging in an appliance might be more appealing to you than the older version.
This new version takes the guess work out of it! NO need to worry about how to keep the heat at the right temperature on the stove! The manual is easy to follow and you will be amazed at how quickly you can get a meal on the table!

Recently the Instant Pot company sent me a brand new Instant Pot! Since I all ready have one, I decided this would be a wonderful way to introduce someone to this new method of quick cooking! I have used an old fashioned one but would love the newer version. I have seen such great recipes, especially making your own yogurt. Yum. I liked on FB, pinterest, sorry I don't do twitter need to get with the times LOL

I have never used a pressure cooker because I am scared! I watched my dad get burned so many times... But his meals were so amazing!
While I was visiting family in Cuba I was introduced to this type of pressure cooker and would LOVE to have one so I can cook without fear!!!!

I have never used a pressure cooker but have been looking at them in recent months. I like the multi-use of the InstaPot and would love to try one ....better yet....win one!!
I cook a lot and take my own food as I travel with my job. It is a lot of work but worth it. The InstaPot would make the process every week easier and take less time.
My mother used one occasionally, but she wouldn't let us get too close as she was very cautious with it.

I've never used a pressure cooker, because I've always been afraid of them. I just remember my mom canning jelly when I was little and always making me stay WAY back because it could be "dangerous". This one sounds like a safer option, though.

I have never used an instant pot or a pressure cooker mainly because I've never owned one. I only recently became interested in one when someone I know purchased one a few months ago and as a result of cooking his own food, lost 25 pounds. Also, knowing that some of them can be used as a pressure canner made it even more interesting to me as I'd like to can my own vegetable broth. Most vegetable broth contains mushrooms and my daughter is allergic to them. Thank you for all of your recipes. They really help me with the Wheat Belly Diet.
