Love it! I make chia pudding frequently for breakfast but the yogurt addition makes it so nuch creamier . I pureed my strawberries, swirled it in and threw fresh black raspberries on top (the lowest carb content of all the berries!)

I wouldn't use canned coconut milk here as it is so much thicker than almond milk. You could use a fresh coconut milk in the refrigerated section of the market, near the almond milk.

I have ground chia seeds, not whole. I assume I can use the ground version, but also assume that I would not use the same quantity (8 tablespoons). I imagine if I used the same number of grams of ground chia as the number of grams in 8 tablespoons of chia, the recipe should work. Does your whole chia seed label indicate how many grams in a teaspoon or tablespoon of whole chia seeds?

This recipe sounds wonderful, and I look forward to trying it EXCEPT... I'm highly allergic to almond milk and almost all other tree-nut milks. And making 6 servings of anything is overkill for me (single and living/cooking alone here). I am not allergic to coconut, and can drink and cook with coconut milk or rice milk (and dairy milk in small quantities). How much coconut milk can I substitute for the almond milk? Since canned coconut milk is so thick, how much filtered water should I add to this to make it thin enough to substitute in this recipe? I appreciate your help, thank you.

Keto isn't a one size fits all approach. What happens to your body eating berries may not happen to someone else. Some people have more metabolic flexibility and can stay in nutritional ketosis eating berries occasionally. While I agree our bodies don't need carbs, enjoying berries in season from time to time is living a sustainable ketogenic lifestyle in my opinion.

I stopped eating the 1/2 cup strawberries I used to put in my daily smoothies. My A1c went down 0.8 mg/dL some 5 weeks later. Natural sugar is metabolized exactly the same way as added sugars so NONE of them are healthy. Our bodies have been making blood sugar at normal levels for millions and millions of years before we even HAD any carbs to eat because our body makes blood sugar out of fats and proteins which ARE necessary for us to eat but CARBS just aren't required at all.
