This Calzone was really tasty. First time making the dough as well. I plan on making a pizza with it. It’s such a gift to be able to make & enjoy foods that have been avoided in the past. Thank you Brenda!

This looks like heavenly comfort food 🙂 Dumb question though…does the sliced sausage go in raw or cooked?? If raw, does it cook through properly in 25 minutes? Thanks!

Pizza is my kryptonite. I love that you’ve found a way to take out some of the guilt without compromising on the goodness, and then made it even better by throwing in that delicious looking sausage and pepper filling. Great recipe, and a great cause too!

Ellie’s Fund sounds like such a blessing for those navigating cancer treatments. I loved Al Fresco sausages before learning that they are partnering with Ellie’s Fund, so I adore them even more now.
