My daughter and I made these this morning and OH MY GOODNESS are they good. I used quick cook steel cut oats and almond butter, strawberry fruit spread, and honey from our hives. Most of the ingredients came from Trader Joe's. I love that place! Thanks for the recipe. Going on the weekly rotation.

You're right Jessica it won't work with the original batter, too loose. Well try the quick oats with this recipe, it may be just fine. I am out of bananas or I would try it myself! let me know how it turns out.

I can't say how the outcome would be since the amounts of liquid I used are specifically for steel cut. I would use my original recipe if you want to use rolled oats.

Oh yes I believe they will do just fine in the freezer. Although I haven't frozen any yet so I'm not sure how long to reheat in the microwave. Always do less time though so they don't dry out.
