In reply to Dee. We ate it right away so I can't say how it will be once frozen overnight. But I think if you just allow it thaw on the counter it will be just as soft.

is this recipe meant to be eaten right away? Just curious if it gets too hard how good it will be. Sounds really good and EASY!

In reply to Melissa. I would say to only blend it and place it in a container for a short time in the freezer. Too long and it will be too hard so plan on soft serve. :)

I don’t have an ice cream machine. Could I just put it in the freezer for awhile and get similar results? I love coconut!

I love pina colada’s, the hardest part for me is to not put any rum in, LOL! This looks nice and easy!!

I have other ice cream recipes, but they need more ingredients, so you have t have them on hand, but this recipe, I needed only 2 ingredients and hubby and I enjoyed our cool-down dessert!!!! Thank you, Sugarfree mom!
