We just started out on an 18 day roadtrip up the Pacific Northwest coast. Both my boyfriend and I are working on losing weight and changing our eating lifestyles. The strategies we have put into place to "survive" our vacation include two ice chests, one has breakfast food which include greek yogurt, fresh fruit and homemade individual egg white frittata's. The other ice chest holds our lunch makings of salad greens, lean meats and fresh fruits and vegi's (which we will replace throughout our travels.) We also have a bag with our snacks, of nuts, carrots, etc... We then will have a "nice" dinner out each night. It took a little bit of planning, but has made for a very nice roadtrip so far. We both feel great and not the least bit deprived.
