Hi Danielle,
The confusion here comes from how tracking apps calculate sweeteners like allulose or monk fruit blends.

When you see 53g of sweetener, apps like MyFitnessPal will automatically count that as 53g of carbohydrate at 4 calories per gram. But ingredients like allulose and erythritol are not metabolized the same way as sugar or starch. They are either minimally absorbed or excreted and have little to no glycemic impact.

So while they technically show up under “total carbs” in an app, they do not behave like 53g of table sugar in the body. That’s why it’s typically subtracted on most recipes sites like mine and many others.

Amazing! BUT! The carbs are way more than listed if you're using monk fruit/allulose. I made just one serving based on the adjustable serving slider and it calls for 53 g of sweetener. That comes to 53g of Carbs plus a few here and there in the other ingredients. Total of 60.9. I added this in My Fitness Pal based on a serving of 1. Still good but far from 6g. Its also 3.7 grams of protein and 31.8g of fat.

Hi Brenda,
This looks delicious!

How can I make this dairy free? I can use Tofutti cream cheese. But what form of coconut milk should I use—coconut cream, coconut milk from the can, or refrigerated, coconut milkand only use the cream on top?

Thank you very much!

Was your cream cheese softened or cold from the fridge? If cold that is probably why it didn't combine well.

Brenda,

I’m not sure what we did wrong but we could not get the cream cheese mixture to combine well with the whipped heavy cream. Do you have a video for this?
