Curious if you have a gas or electric oven? I preheat at 400 degrees, made as per my instructions at least a half dozen times and same cook time each time.

After I made this, and it was delicious, I decided tonight, I am going to make the “crust” first and bake it. Then put my enchilada topping on top, top with more shredded cheese, and bake until melted through. Wish me luck!

I made your taco casserole and it was very good. I had to tweak it a little for my husband as his “taster” seems diminished…so…two teaspoons of cumin, added fresh cilantro and used mostly pepper jack cheese. I had made homemade salsa that was too hot so this gave him extra flavor as well. All in all, it was a hit. Thank you for all you hard work and tasty recipes!
