That chocolate souffle looks so yummy. My hubby would really like it I am sure.

The pinto beans in your salad look like what we call black eyed peas. The pinto beans we get are bigger and no eye in them. Never seen these.

Your food always looks fantastic! I need to try that chocolate souffle asap. I'm glad you're seeing improvement from going gluten free... I've considered experimenting but haven't made it happen yet. I don't have any major complaints, just occasionally bloating and discomfort. Seems like gluten is usually the culprit.

I did my own 3 Day cleanse & Detox after reading the book Hungry for Change and that's when I realized I might have a wheat allergy. Here's my link. I did it before the New year and decided to try GF for 6 weeks and see how it goes. So far so good! https://www.sugarfreemom.com/recipes/three-day-cleanse-detox-plan/

I love these posts! Thanks for sharing your real life! And I so would have eaten that whole bag of chips....yikes! Your lunch is making me hungry!
I haven't gone totally gluten-free but I have been seriously cutting carbs to help loose some weight. Thanks for the update on your gluten issues.
Re: yogurt....I recently made my own greek yogurt and it was SUPER easy & yummy! Got 4 lbs of yogurt from 1 gallon of 1% milk with minimal work. I was always intimitated by it, but I used a picture tutorial from this blog (http://www.melskitchencafe.com/2013/01/diy-homemade-yogurt.html) and it was SO EASY! I have been eating it in my smoothies, using in my baking and putting my lemon NuStevia drops (that I won from your giveaway!) in it w/ a few sunflower seeds. Yummy! For my kids, I add honey and they use it like fruit dip. It was so creamy & saved so much $$. Just thought I would pass it along :)

I've had lots of GI issues myself, and cutting gluten / wheat / grains mostly from my diet has immensely helped. I did a 15-day juice reboot in December and since then my GI issues have all but disappeared. Not sure why that worked, but I plan to do a 3-day maintenance juice each month.
