I went to Applebee’s recently and they would not give me green beans with anything except steak and two kinds of chicken… one that was smothered in cheese and another that was covered in mushrooms. They refused to sub green beans for the potatoes. I explained I am diabetic and they still wouldn’t do it.

We used to enjoy Applebee’s a lot, but the restaurants near us have been such a disappointment the last few times we went. I don’t think we’re going back. However, my daughters say the Applebee’s near them (in Texas) is great! Who knows?? 😛

I hate to try new places because I am afraid it will not be good. We at at Logan’s Roadhouse in Augusta,GA for the first time a few years ago. It was very good. We tried it in Murfreesboro,TN and it was so smoky tasting I only ate a few bites. It just ruined my appetite. I told the waitress and she offered to get me something else. I was almost sick from the smoke taste. They did take it off the bill though.
