Salt & Pepper Sugar Free Keto BBQ Ribs

  • Preheat oven to 250 degrees F. Lay parchment paper on two large baking sheet pans.
  • Combine the Swerve brown sugar sub, pepper and salt together in a small bowl. Sprinkle ribs with rub on both sides.
  • Lay another piece of parchment paper over the ribs. Cover pans tightly with aluminum foil. Bake for 2 hours.
  • Increase temperature to 325 degrees F. Remove ribs from oven then remove foil and parchment paper. Remove cooking liquid/fat from each baking sheet pan and pour into a small sauce pan. Set aside for now. Place ribs back in the oven and cook uncovered for another hour or until tender.
  • Add Sugar Free BBQ sauce to the sauce pan with cooking liquid and cook over medium heat to bring to a simmer, stir until combined and heated through, about 5 minutes. Set aside.
  • Once ribs come out of the oven, brush both sides with BBQ sauce, grill or broil until deep brown and shiny, about 5-8 minutes. Enjoy!
  • Make Ahead: Ribs can be made up to 3 days ahead, cool, refrigerate then make BBQ sauce when you are ready to eat them.
  • Storage: Store in an airtight container for up to 3-4 days.
