Oven Fried Garlic Parmesan Green Beans

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil or avocado oil
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic  or 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 egg beaten
  • ½ teaspoon salt or garlic salt
  • 12 ounces fresh green beans
  • cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • optional: cayenne pepper or red pepper flakes, lemon zest, black pepper

Instructions

Oven Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
  • In a small bowl whisk the oil, garlic, egg and salt together.
  • Toss the egg mixture on the green beans and coat well.
  • Sprinkle in Parmesan on the green beans and toss gently.
  • Place evenly on a greased large baking sheet pan.
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
  • To crisp, heat a couple of minutes under broiler.

Air Fry Option

  • For air frying, cook at 400°F for 5 minutes then flip the green beans and cook another 3-5 minutes more.
