I was 56 when I started my journey with SugarfreeMom and I live in Pennsylvania.

After I completed the 5 days, I decided to continue my journey and join the 6 week course which started in March of 2022.
DID YOU HAVE ANY HEALTH OR WEIGHT STRUGGLES BEFORE JOINING THE COURSE AND MEMBERSHIP?
Yes, I've struggled with my weight my entire life. I've tried every diet since I was in high school and always lost and then gained it back each time.
But now in my 50's it was getting harder to lose weight each time I tried a new diet again. I'm an over-eater and have always indulged eating sweet treats & bread.
WHAT OTHER PROGRAMS HAVE YOU TRIED BEFORE JOINING THE SUGAR DETOX PROGRAM?
Weight watchers and many trendy diets that have popped up over the years.
HOW MUCH WEIGHT DID YOU LOSE AND WHAT OTHER NON SCALE VICTORIES HAVE YOU HAD?
Since March 2022, I've lost 70 lbs and for the first time as an adult I'm able to wear size 10 pants and medium shirts.
I haven't been able to fit in a size 10 since I was in Junior High.
My sleep has improved, no daily pain in my knees and I'm finally able to control my emotional eating that I've done my entire life. I finally like looking at myself in the mirror and shopping to buy clothing.
And I can now shop in any store instead of searching for plus size stores that in the past were hard to find.
WHAT WERE YOU TYPICALLY EATING BEFORE MAKING THIS LIFESTYLE CHANGE?
Anything and everything and lots of it. I ate throughout the entire day every couple of hours. I was always snacking and had no control over my daily food intake.
I enjoyed bread, sweets and pasta and ate it on a daily basis.
WHAT SUGARFREEMOM RECIPES OR RESOURCES HAVE HELPED YOU?
I also utilize the website for any additional recipes that I'm looking for throughout the year. SugarFree Mom Tribe Membership has been the best support system.
I've met so many wonderful people who were dealing with the same issues that I was living with every day.
I couldn't do it without my Sugar-free Sista's support group, they ROCK and I'm so glad I met them through this program.
WHAT DOES A TYPICAL DAY OF EATING LOOK LIKE NOW FOR YOU?
I eat two meals a day between 11 AM and 6/6:30 PM that always consist of protein and veggies.
I no longer snack throughout the day and honestly don't need snacks anymore.
Mornings are my black coffee and water. I add Vital Proteins to my last cup of coffee around 10-11AM. I eat lunch anytime between 10 - 1 PM, depending on my schedule and most days finish dinner by 6-6:30pm.
WHAT HAVE YOU LEARNED FROM YOUR JOURNEY?
I've learned that I was addicted to sugar and that I no longer need it in my life. I've learned that I was an emotional eater but now I've been given the tools to use so I don't eat when I'm upset, angry, sad or even happy.
I now only eat when I'm hungry and have learned to choose healthy foods that are delicious. I don't feel cheated or robbed if I don't eat something with sugar in it.
I no longer need sugar to be happy or feel satisfied.
My perspective on food has completely changed, so I'm no longer afraid to go back to my bad habits. I finally feel like I have control over my life and my food choices.

I'm so very thankful that I gave this program a chance, it has completely transformed the way I look at myself and food.
I never thought I would EVER be sugar free so this in itself amazes me. But I am more fulfilled today than I've ever been in the past.
