Who knew chia seeds would be so yummy and so versatile in so many recipes? Not I that’s for sure. But since I finally purchased a bottle, I’ve found many recipes to throw them into. I love how they gel up and moisten everything in contact once mixed with liquid.
I first saw this idea on Pinterest for refrigerator oats and was quite curious if I would enjoy a cold oatmeal in the morning. ‘Course I had to try it and was pleasantly surprised!
I changed up a few things and you can certainly add honey if your not crazy about stevia but your nutrition info will change as well. Super creamy, almost like a pudding as opposed to oatmeal in a bowl.
Full of protein and fiber and absolutely delicious!

My point+ calculator gave me a PPV of 7 for this recipe….
I have the point calculator as well and it comes to 6 with the nutrition info there BUT I am also a life time member so I use the weight watchers online. Online does not know whether the mango is fresh or cooked. You do not need to include the mango at all. Therefore online the points+ are 4.
Mmmmm….mangoes! I don’t like oats too much but if they are being served with mangoes like yours, i have no problems eating a bowl 🙂
hey may i know what is the equivalence of 1/2 teaspoon SweetLeaf Liquid Stevia, Vanilla Creme to granulated sugar? 🙂

I had this for breakfast today. It was delicious! Thank you!!
Glad you liked it!
I am allergic to nuts so I cannot use almond milk, can I use regular low fat milk instead. Or Horizon Farms Organic Vanilla Milk. This sounds like a great breakfast for me to grab and go in the morning and eat on my way to work!
Yes absolutely! These were for me but my boys are allergic to nuts so I would use 1% for them if they were having it. I’m lactose intolerant so the milk bothers me.
