Can I use fresh strawberries instead of freeze dried?

You could use fresh berries instead of freeze dried but it will make the strawberry flavor less prominent and will thin out the texture of the yogurt mixture.

Can I use Frozen strawberries?

You could use frozen strawberries, just be sure to thaw them before using and drain really well. Just like fresh strawberries, you won’t get as strong of a strawberry flavor as using freeze dried.

Can I use heavy cream instead of plain yogurt?

You would need to whip the heavy cream to stiff peaks then fold in the berries once blended.

Can I use regular full-fat Greek yogurt?

You could use Greek full fat or plain regular yogurt  or low fat yogurt. I chose the Green Valley lactose free brand.

Can I use Coconut milk instead of yogurt?

You could replace the yogurt to make this dairy free by using coconut milk, but I would recommend canned coconut milk rather than a carton of fresh coconut milk.

Can I use fat-free yogurt?

You could swap the low fat yogurt I used for a non fat version if you prefer.

Can I use a regular Ice Cream Maker instead of a Ninja Creami?

Yes, you could add the low carb yogurt mixture to a standard ice cream machine and enjoy a soft serve frozen yogurt.

Storage

Place frozen yogurt in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 1 month. When you are ready to enjoy, allow to soften on the counter for 15-20 minutes to come to room temperature to enjoy.
