This Copycat Starbucks Vanilla Bean Frappuccino is made entirely Sugar Free, Keto and Low Carb but tastes just like the real thing!
Low Carb Keto Vanilla Bean Frappuccino
Have you been to Starbucks and ordered a vanilla bean frappuccino before? I must be completely honest and tell you I have not. I’m a coffee lover for sure, but I’ve always avoided any kind of frappes at coffee shops simply because I know the sugar is outrageous despite the fact they are undeniably delicious!
I mean who wouldn’t love a little vanilla bean ice cream type shake during the day as a treat right? And know you must be wondering, is it even possible to duplicate a Vanilla Bean Frappuccino Recipe at home and sugar free? Yes it is and it’s super easy!
What is in a Vanilla Bean Frappuccino?
Typically Starbucks Vanilla Bean Frappuccino has no coffee in it at all. I believe it’s made with sweetened condensed milk, vanilla bean powder and ice and topped with whipped cream of course!
According to the Starbucks menu online their frappuccino has 57 grams of sugar and 59 grams of carbs in one 16 ounce serving! I think you’ll be happy to hear my version has no sugar and 2 grams of carbs!!
Top with some sugar free whipped cream and shaved chocolate and anyone will be happy to enjoy this homemade version, kids or adults!
How to Make a Healthy Sugar-Free Vanilla Bean Frappuccino at Home
This seriously takes minutes in your blender and if you want it even thicker try my vanilla bean ice cream instead of the heavy cream!
Brenda’s Notes:
- You could sub the heavy cream with coconut cream to make this dairy free!
- You can also sub the almond milk with another milk of choice.
- Nutritional information does not include optional toppings.
- For 2 servings just double information provided.
- To make this a little more authentic as Starbucks, use my Single Serving Vanilla Bean Ice Cream prepared, in place of the one cup heavy cream used in the recipe. I don’t have any vanilla liquid stevia. I do have plain liquid stevia glycerite though. Do you think I could use the plain stevia with vanilla extract in place of the vanilla stevia? If so, how much do you think? I also have vanilla bean paste as well if that would be better?
I think the vanilla bean paste would be better than the extract. Let me know how much you use of stevia glycerite, no sure if it is as sweet or sweeter than the stevia I’ve used here. Just add a little and taste and adjust.
This sounds like it would be amazing with whipped cream sweetened with honey. Its so easy just whip heavy whipping cream in a chilled bowl with chilled mixers and mix in honey to taste. It tastes just like normal whipped cream, my family and I love it!
I make my whipped cream with a few drops of vanilla liquid stevia, my family loves it!
Even on April fools I prefer no crabs in my fraps! 🙂
According to the Starbucks menu online their frappuccino has 57 grams of sugar and 59 grams of carbs in one 16 ounce serving! I think you’ll be happy to hear my version has no sugar and one half gram of crabs!!
🙂
I have been on a diet for the last couple of weeks, and now, I can have Starbucks, even with my diet!
I want to add several shots of espresso to this!! Very excited to try this out!! Thank you!
Yes chilled espresso is a great idea!
Just curious to know, Lori, what’s your favorite espresso maker/method? TIA!
Anne

Why don’t you have the pinterest feature that allows viewer to pin a food picture to a computer recipe file ?
I do have that feature, as you hover over the photo you want to pin, it pops up in the top left corner of every photo.
This looks amazing! Thanks for sharing! I am trying so hard to go sugar-free; thanks for the inspiration! 🙂
Just made this, added some leftover coffee from my morning brew, and it was AMAZING!!! Tastes JUST like a specialty coffee from a coffee shop. THANK YOU!!
Thanks Susan!
There’s something wrong here. 1 cup of whipping cream and it’s only 217 calories? I’m interested in this recipe – could you please fix it?
4 servings in this recipe, not meant for 1 serving
Starbucks Fraps are made with whole milk. Not sweetened condensed milk. They never use that stuff!
