Seeing that it’s officially MARCH, what better way then to encourage green eating this month right?
Here’s my visual food journal of my eats for Monday. I started the day well, but it kind of went down hill after that. But the vibrant green on this day still makes me happy anyway!
Here’s my fantastically delicious Cleanse & Detox Smoothie for my 3 Day Cleanse & Detox Plan, which I thought I was going to do for 3 days but a few snacks steered me in the wrong direction on the first day!.
Isn’t this so pretty?! I love the colors of this salad mixed in with some tri-color quinoa! I ate the whole bowl, YUM!
My favorite snack is always a 1/2 cup of plain Greek yogurt with fruit. I think I eat it everyday. 🙂
Doing so well, then had a trip to Aldi’s and look what I found……..
My downfall…..Brown Rice chips!!! I love them too much and shouldn’t have opened the bag or ate one because half the bag was eaten before I asked for someone to take this bag away from me before I ate the whole thing!
Dinner was left overs of my new recipe I just posted. My hubby was going out for a work dinner I didn’t know about so I made the kids soup and I finished off what was left of these!

I was sent some of these protein peanut butter cups and protein bars to review and give away on my blog for next week. I’ve been enjoying them greatly! I’m satisfied with just one of these little cups, but two are in the package. Really delish!
So overall not a bad day, but not as great as I would have liked had I done my 3 Day Cleanse & Detox plan. I’ve signed up with FitFluential March DietBet as well which starts on the 11th to lose 4% which will help me stay motivated to lose 5 pounds I’ve been struggling with for a long time now.
