If you didn't read the title, would you know what they were? Probably not..... but they are so delicious!
This is a recipe review of a fabulous take on quinoa from So Very Blessed for Cheesy Quinoa Bites.
I originally saw it on Pinterest and finally got around to making it. I was hoping it would be something the kids would eat and love instead of .....nuggets......
Unfortunately they are not that into them..... which is fine because I loved them! More for me!
I made a dozen, ate half, froze half, thawed them overnight, reheated them in the microwave for about 3 minutes and they tasted just as good!
If you are interested in the dressing I dipped mine in check this post out.
You could start with a delicious salad like my Quinoa Chicken Cherry Salad, Quinoa Edamame Feta or Quinoa Chickpea with avocado dressing!

Made these today, omitted the cilantro, used white whole wheat flour as you suggested. They are very good. I used the parm cheese so my calorie count was a little higher, but will enjoy as an afternoon snack.
I'm a vegetarian and have been looking for a recipe that uses quinoa for a while. Can't wait to try these!
Made these last night and they were wonderful! Thank you Becky and Brenda! I did forget the garlic though 🙁 We will definitely be making them again but possibly increasing the cheese by 1/4 cup and will likely add a little cayenne pepper. My son (18 months) wasnt a big fan but my husband and I thought they were great!
Looks yummy. I just got the recipe.
I'm so glad that you liked them! Honestly, I was pretty shocked that my husband liked them so much, because he's not excited about most "healthy" food, so I'm not surprised that your husband and kids weren't crazy about them. I'm so honored that you chose to make and review my recipe! And I appreciate you sending people back to my site for the recipe so, so much. I really respect you for that. 🙂
